CHICKENS
Chickens have by far been the hardest thing for me to raise. I have had many trails during my time with chickens, but there is something about them that makes me not want to give up. I’ve lost count of how many chickens I have (Chicken Math). But I’m constantly thinking of how I can get more, and how to perfect the perfect egg rainbow.
Introducing the Omlet Automatic Chicken Coop Door! Do you have electricity for your chicken coop? I DON’T!
Up until now, I’ve had the most complicated, unreliable, coop door, that consists of a solar panel, battery, and a terrible timer.
If you’ve been frustrated like me then this is the time to UPGRADE! I’m telling you, no one else compares. This is the best coop on the market 🙌
I wanted to share my obsession with Omlet’s new automatic chicken coop door. The best part is you don’t need electricity for your coop and it’s so simple!
How often do you clean your chicken coop? How long does it take?
One of the my favorite features of the Omlet Eglu Cube is the slide out tray AND removable roost. I can easily dump the tray and spray the tray and roost down. It only takes a few minutes and everything is fresh.
On May 26th I brought home 8 ex-battery hens. Since then I have been blown away by the response from everyone. You are all cheering the girls on and helping me provide the best life for them.
Why buy calcium for your hens when you have fresh egg shells?
Part 2: Learning and Doing
The only thought in my mind was – all my chickens are going to die, and there is nothing I can do to save them.
PART 1: THE BACK STORY
If you're brand new to chickens or thinking about getting chickens, I highly recommend you take the time to read this article and learn from my mistake.
In this video, I'm installing the Omlet Automatic Chicken Coop door in my large wooden coop. I got my first automatic door for my Omlet Eagle Cube. I loved it so much that I decided to get a second one for my larger chicken coop.
