About Tara -
Hey there! I'm Tara, a farmer and wine grape grower nestled in the beautiful landscapes of the California Delta. As a proud 5th generation farmer, I've taken my family's agricultural legacy in an exciting new direction. While my family's roots run deep in grain crops and land leveling, I've carved out my own niche in the world of viticulture. In 2017, I embarked on a journey to transform my dream into reality, and Beaver Vineyards was born.
Just two days after my wedding in April 2018, I planted 50 acres of Sauvignon Blanc β talk about a honeymoon! Fast forward to today, and I'm not just nurturing vines; I'm also raising a wonderful son. Balancing motherhood and the vineyard has been an incredible adventure, teaching me new lessons every day.
I'm passionate about more than just creating exceptional grapes. As a staunch advocate for mental health and agriculture, I believe in nurturing both the land and the people who work it. My mission? To show that farming isn't just a job β it's a fulfilling lifestyle that connects us to the earth and each other.
If there's one thing I've learned, it's that tomorrow isn't guaranteed. That's why I pour my heart into every aspect of my life and work, savoring each moment and each harvest. Whether you're here for the wine, the farming insights, or just a glimpse into the life of a modern-day FarmHer, I'm thrilled to share my story with you.
Thank you for stopping by and joining me on this journey. Cheers to growth, both in vines and in life!
